The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) always brings revelations of innovative games for gaming enthusiasts and this year will be no exception. Microsoft and Bethesda have already made their revelations and begun enticing excitement among gamers and the entire gaming world. Leading hardware manufacturers, publishers, and software developers from the video game industry will present their upcoming games at E3. It is organized by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), and will be held at in the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 12 to 14, 2018.
Bethesda revealed its two virtual reality games including Prey, a survival sci-fi horror game, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, the Nazi-killing extravaganza. In Prey, there is a competitive game mode named Typhon Hunter which confronts players to the shapeshifting alien combatants. The game producers described this mode as, “deadly game of cat and mouse, except in this instance the cat is sometimes a trashcan, or a bottle of cleaning supplies and the mouse has a shotgun.” This mode is available in standard 2D and virtual reality. It is included in the Mooncrash expansion, which will be released this summer. Commenting on the launch of launch of Prey, Bethesda twitted following:

Its another game Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is set to give a whole new VR experience. The game is set out in the revisionist history field of the series where gamers need to control the fearsome, fire-breathing Nazi robotic hound Panzerhund. Gamers would help the French fight against the Germans in Paris.
On the other hand, Microsoft made huge revelations about a new title in the Halo series, Halo Infinite. The brief teaser offered very little information about the actual game. It displayed soldiers wandering around the field and the helmet of Master Chief. The iconic character will be featuring in this game and return for the “greatest adventure to save humanity.” Halo Infinite is “the next chapter in the legendary franchise,” which could indicate that it might be a sequel to Halo 5: Guardians released in 2015. The game is developed on top of the Slipspace Engine.
Microsoft also made another huge announcement along with revealing a new game. It is acquired gaming studios including Ninja Theory, Undead Labs, Playground Games, and Compulsion Games. These four studios will empower first-party game development of Microsoft along with strengthening Xbox Game Pass, its game download subscription service.
Other game production companies including Sony, Ubisoft, Nintendo, Square Enix, and others have lined up for their press conferences and big announcements. On June 11, Square Enix’s press conference will be held over video at 10:00am (PDT), Ubisoft’s at 1:00pm (PDT), and Sony’s at 6:00pm (PDT). However, a prerecorded video presentation will be streamed by Nintendo on June 12 at 9:00am (PDT). Gamers will be excited to know what other game production companies offer as they host their press conferences on given time.
